Charles Avery's major solo exhibition for the 2015 Edinburgh Art Festival is now open at Ingleby Gallery. Avery's Ingleby Gallery exhibition coincides with a new public artwork commissioned by Edinburgh Art Festival and Parasol unit foundation for contemporary art. A tree from the Jadindagadendar - the municipal park of Onomatopoeia - has been unveiled at Waverley Station and stands over five metres tall. An exotic specimen brought back from a fictional land, Avery's tree sits between our world and his, offering shelter or a place for momentary escape and contemplation.
