< Miss, Canadá: Where are you fronteras and how do you get to pageant?
> I’m born and raised from Toronto, Canada and I took a plane from Toronto to Amsterdam and then Amsterdam to Alicante
< The readers want to know your physical characteristics: height, weight, size?
> I am 5’2, 100 pounds and I’m a size 0
< What does it mean to you to participate this year representing your country, and why do you think you can be the winner?
> For me this competition is about bringing Canada to the world and being a role model of an empowered woman. I am a proud Filipina Canadian and I grew up in the most multicultural country in the world. Canada is a melting pot of hundreds of ethnicities and different walks of life. My country embraces diversity and celebrates differences and I’m here to share that here on this international platform. I believe I can be the winner because I am the best example of a modern day transformational Global model. I carry with me stories of the unheard and a platform for the voiceless. I believe my beauty shines from the inside out and with my relatability, I am the best candidate to carry the responsibilities of an international ambassador with my experience working with the community, my leadership and my confidence.
< What message would you give to the young people of your generation?
> My advice for the younger generation is to be your authentic self and don’t be afraid to make mistakes, to challenge yourself and to learn from them. In this day I believe it’s so important for the younger generation to learn from the mistakes from the past and to do better. Don’t be too hard on yourself and remember we are all human. Look for the beauty in every aspect of your life, be grateful for your blessings and be humble.
