Inspired by the opulence and refinement of the ‘Bal de Vienne’, ELIE SAAB presents a Spring 2019 Bridal collection that ranges from voluminous ball gowns to figure hugging mermaid shapes, revealing an array of exquisite details, luxurious fabrics and fine craftsmanship that reflect the Maison’s longstanding heritage. 

Grand yet light, the collection opens with signature ball gowns that unveil layer upon layer of luxurious tulle and organza, with form-fitting corsets that define the waistlines. 

Lace ruffles appear on necklines, and embroidered tulle appliqué adorns heart-shaped bodices. Long draped skirts are embellished with delicate floral elements, and are each finished with thousands of sequins and crystals cascading down to the hem. 

Lace corseted mermaid gowns stand in elegant contrast to the larger volumes, and are a contemporary ode to the Viennese theme. 

Boasting ornate pearl beading that intertwines with elaborate silk organza and satin flower appliques, the gowns allow for a hint of ethereal transparency to shine through, as the bride meanders beneath the glittering chandeliers of the grand hall. 

Here, a contemporary ode to Empress Sissi fuels the collection, as the ELIE SAAB Spring 2019 bride makes her way through the palace, her long cape in refined tulle and embroidery sweeping behind her with grace, and her reflection multiplying in the hundreds as she walks passed the mirrors surrounding a ballroom as grand as the Salon Baccarat.
