(Paquistan) Ali Xeeshan @alixeeshan the coveted designer has stepped up his game as he joins the race as a designer for PIA's new uniforms. 'It is an honorable opportunity for me to be able to incorporate my design aesthetic for PIA's flight attendants.
My inspiration is the 1960's era which was a golden age for the Pakistan Airline as it was regarded as one of the best airlines of the world. If i am to bring my take on this as a designer I would like to revive that era.
Breaking away from traditions, PIA was the first airline in the world to incorporate local attire as its uniform as other airlines.
From the very beginning, PIA has been regarded as an airline representing some of the best well dressed crew members. From tweed jackets to green caps, the vision that goes with this is to represent what Pakistan is about internationally.

As one of the participating designers in the feat, the multitalented designer has made a name for himself with his diverse design ethos and a much needed new look in the industry.
He says 'We are amalgamating the 60's classic look and modern design detailing to make a look that exudes style and sophistication.
The colours that we have used are navy blue, green and off white. Staying true to the roots of the national carrier of Pakistan, the look will be very modest representing what Pakistan is all about to the rest of the world.' The designer is using quality tropical wool as a fabric which can be worn in all four seasons.
Ali Xeeshan wants his collection to be a reflection of Pakistan's identity and the national spirit that goes behind the illustrious history of PIA.
